My sister is taking chemotherapy since 3 months .she has 3rd stage of lung cancer . At first she was diagnosed by 7cm * 6 cm tumor .. she finished 3rd chemo last month . In her recent scan of lung cancer ... there is 1 cm * 1 cm reduction from previous tumor . Is this good sign of medicine ? Can we take this positively ?

This is a wonderful report. As long as there is some shrinkage or no growth (stable disease) the treatment is working.
So glad for her, you and all of your loved ones that she’s seen some positive results. Occasionally, a doctor won’t be happy with the rate it’s shrinking and want to try a different treatment but my doctor always said if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
This is indeed good progress and should be taken positively. Hope she continues to make good progress.... good luck to you and your sister.
