Because the report says it involves all segments of the lung, it’s my understanding that that is a stage 4 diagnosis.

Oh okay ... I was confused whether it is 3rd or 4th. Very worried for her . Hoping for possible treatment.

You’re a great sister for learning everything you can to help her. I read where Miranda offered free help finding a clinical trial in Nepal for her. Consider using that free service. Best hopes.

I don’t know about Miranda . Is it a company or what ? Could you please tell me how to contact them?

It’s probably stage 4. I was diagnosed with stage 4 with a large mass in right lung and mets to bronchi and in other lung on June 16, 2020. But my tumors have decreased almost 50% with treatment. Keep the faith and believe she will heal. In my prayers💕

Hello etpd2226 you said you get Keytruda. I have or greater stage 4 lung cancer non small cell the biomarkers is PD-L1 expression PD-L1 50%. I do not understand EGFR MUTATION NEGATIVE??? How long have you been on Keytruda and how well is it working for you? Mine is getting smaller I have 2 spots on my lungs and a tumor on my left hip that had 10 radiation treatments done on but still there went from 10 down to 6. I hear others use Keytruda with other treatments I just feel lost some days and wonder if Keytruda is enough???

Thank you much.

Hi

I do not have any mutations so chemo is out of the question for me. I was a good fit for Keytruda based on my tumor analysis.

I think everyone is different. Keytruda works for some but not for others.

I’d recommend contacting the

Go2lungfoundation. They were tremendously helpful and talk to you more about your questions. Best of luck to you.

Sounds like your treatment is working.

thank you very much Miranda now I have other problems with spots showing up on my lungs that my lung doctor does not know what it is nor does my lung doctor. I have to get a PET CT scan and from there if it is cancer biopsy again. :( Been wondering if Keytruda has stopped working and need to start all over again.
