Hello everyone, haven't posted in a while. I was quite elated earlier this year to reach my 5th anniversary of my successful VAT surgery. Unfortunately, it was short lived because my last Pet Scan shows a lesion in the sacrum area.
Until now all my follow ups have been good, so I'm quite worried. I will have an MRI soon to investigate, but in the meantime I would like to know if any of you have heard or experienced a similar situation. Your input will be much appreciated. Thank you

We’re there any other lesions? Do insist on a biopsy, anytime there is suspected progression. After you reached the 5 year mark they need to treat it as a new cancer. They should also do genomic testing on it.
If it’s the only lesion they may be able to take care of it with radiation. Sending hope that it’s a benign lesion.
Denzil, Thank you for your advice. As far as I know there are no other lesions. Hopefully the MRI will provide more details. I’ll insist on a biopsy and the genomic testing if doctors don’t recommend it to begin with. Again thank you.
