Tarceva scalp

I am a near 10 year lung cancer survivor. The last 4 1/2 with stage 4 NSCLC, currently in remission. Have taken Tarceva since Sept of 2014 and had never connected the scabbing on the top of my head as being Tarceva side effect. The responses here are quite interesting. I’ve always thought it was from being old with a bald head.

Welcome to the Board! 10 years is awesome. May you enjoy many more milestones. I’m surprised no one told you to expect scalp issues but I really like your way of thinking.

Oh, I was told, it's just a pain in the tush. However, I have seen comments from others who could only wish that was their problem. I really have nothing to complain about.

2 years remission for me also. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Congratulation, Rick! That’s a lot of years with this awful disease (and a lot of years with all the side effects).
