CBD OIL & LUNG ISSUES
need to research granny, here's a good start from Am. Cancer Society: cancer.org/treatment/treatm...
Hi there. See my blog on CBD and lung cancer here. thechrissiefullerdaily.blog...
Good luck!
Hi granny, welcome to this awesome site. I had my middle lobe removed almost 4 years ago. I take a shot of Sandostatin once a month. Due to colon surgery I had to stop it for 4 months and my tumor marker number rose right back to square one. But finally had a shot last month and numbers are going down again, yeah!
I take CBD oil and it helps my breathing and any anxiety I have is relieved. Which in turn helps me sleep at night. My son takes it for depression, he did some research for me to show me it's ok to take plus talked to oncologist . So far he's been right. So, granny, I say give it a try, start slow, 50 or 100 mg. Let me know if it helps you. ( do the research for yourself also).
I was at a conference over the weekend. A palliative care doctor spoke. He lives in a state where medical marijuana (MM) is legal. However, doctors take a risk when they prescribe MM because it is not legal anywhere federally. So, he does not prescribe it himself, but has colleagues who do. If a patient wants to try MM, he refers them to prescribing doctors.
He said that anecdotally he has seen improvement in his patients. He also said that there is not adequate research at this time for him to make a firm statement on whether it is good or bad.
If it was me and I was in a state where it was legal and my oncologist didn't absolutely hate the idea, I would probably try it!
