On the US Capital steps in Washington, DC this month. Thursday April 26th at 10am. Please join us. This rally is a grass roots effort to bring attention to the fact that lung cancer kills #433aDay. That is a national emergency.
Anyone else going? I’m really looking forward to it. This photo is myself on the left and Anita (Scifiknitter) at the first Life & Breath Rally.

I wish i could i don,t travel but i will be there know that. i just spent two days in hospital a couple months ago i was told i had gastritis i was,nt doing what i was supposed to so now i have an ulcer. i have to take sucralfate 4 times a day and prilisec and eat i was,nt eating much i was told the acid had nothing to digest so it was eating my lower esophagus and lining of stomach. It was extremely painful. So i have to do what i,m supposed to do so it will heal and not end up turning to cancer. How are you doing good i hope. love susie

Oh, Peg! Have a super trip. It was so lovely getting to know you at the Atlanta Conference. You’ve an amazing story and I hope you’ll be able to share it with some of our congressional leaders at the next rally.
I need to write to someone - Lysa, Colleen, Laura????? - and say I am willing to help do whatever they need. I keep forgetting to do it. By now, they may have everyone they need.
Love this picture! I'm scheduled for scans and consultation on the 27th and have a query out about rescheduling. If I can get my appointment rescheduled, I believe I'l be able to be there. Given my medical adventures of the past few months, it may be important to keep to the schedule. I'll let you know when I know!
By the way, the 26th is Robert's 70th birthday. Some way to celebrate - either dragging him along to scans or to the Rally. At least if it's the latter, he'll be able to celebrate with our daughter.
There’s no doubt in my mind that Robert and you will be together side by side whether it’s the scans or the Rally. The love you two share is palpable even now. Hopefully, I’ll get to give him a birthday hug.
