4 weeks after my right upper lobectomy in late August, I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my right lobe main artery. I was prescribed Xarelto and told that it would dissolve in 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks later I had another CT and was diagnosed with another clot in my vein. I went for a second opinion and was told that he didn't think that was the problem and I needed a different type of scan to further evaluate. Long story short, I went to Cleveland Clinic and was diagnosed with a Crohn's related problem in my lungs. I am now doing breathing treatments twice a day for 6 months. My question is has anyone else with lung cancer and Crohn's had any of these issues? The doctor said that Crohn's can affect your intestines, joints, eyes and lungs.

My mom had Crohns and lung cancer. I didn’t know there was any type of connection. If your doctor gives you any resource material would you share it? I’d love to learn more.
I will share!
