Well folks, he fought a good fight just like the boxing he liked. Dad passed this Tuesday from cancer complications. I will miss among many things, our morning coffee together at a local eatery , where we would just talk to each other about the his love of history, the family and our upcoming day. Just the simple things. God could not have given me a better father, dad , role model that everyone knew as "Uncle Pop".
So sorry for your loss! The pain is great but in time I hope you will be able to enjoy your memories of your dad.
So sorry for your loss. Your great and fond memories of Pop will hopefully comfort you some during this trying time. My Blessings and wishes for comforting thoughts are with you.
My deepest condolence Billjbc. My prayers for your pain. Please find comfort in the wonderful memories you will always have in heart of your awesome dad. God bless you🙏🌷
So very sorry to hear this news. You and your family are in my prayers. Remember the good times you've had all these years, he sounds like he had a wonderful life and loved to share with everyone. God Bless.
I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. We are blessed in our lives with a few unbelievable relationships that grace our days and stay with us forever. You and your father shared just such an enriching relationship. That is eternal. Hugs.
I am so sorry for your loss. You and your dad shared a very special relationship. May you find peace in all your memories of the time you had with him.
So very sorry for your loss. Hold on to the great memories! Grief is a terrible thing to handle, and it never goes away, but it does morph into acceptance with time. The raw feelings of loss will eventually give way as you adjust to your new normal. I lost my best friend and support of 35 years last year, and still find myself wanting to talk to her and hear her feedback. Now the talks are one-sided, but I know she hears and can feel her answers!
So sorry to hear that your Dad lost his battle with cancer. You telling us about his courage gave me lots of hope during my first few months of knowing I had cancer. Wish I could just give you a few hugs, but can't.
