Although I am still taking a break from social media, I did want to give you an update on my Dad. On May 10th, my dad passed away. He went pretty peacefully, and was surrounded by his children and other family members. I will miss him so incredibly much because he was my world. He raised me, my twin sister, and brother all by himself when my Mom passed away when I was 4 years old. He was an outstanding role model, my secret keeper, my Mom, and most importantly, my Dad.
He still won in my eyes, because he had 3 loving children who think the world of him, and we got to be right there with him when he passed. Our Dad is giving us the strength to move forward everyday. He was a fighter, he fought this cancer not for himself, but for his kids. I can only feel privileged to have called him my Dad! He's the most sweetest, gentle soul I ever knew!
Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as we work everyday to live for him. Thank you also for the wonderful support this group as given me and my family! I enjoyed reading different personal stories to my Dad, and this gave us all hope and support. Thanks again!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just keep him in your heart, and he'll never be far away.
I am so , so sorry for your loss. I am also thankful you could be with your father when he passed. I know my future is very uncertain and today my heart is breaking for you and your family, I know how difficult it must be. Me and your father had many similarities with our diagnosis . I am so sorry his treatment was not successful , this is very upsetting and discouraging for me.
Every person is so different, and I truly feel you will beat this cancer. You're doing well and have had many successes! Don't lose sight of conquering this cancer, you're a survivor and you will continue to be one.
I pray every night for a cure for small cell ( and all cancers), and I'll ask my dad to make sure you get through this. He's a great protector and now he can help out everyone. Stay strong- you got this!
So sorry to hear about your dad. Your tribute and all your posts show what a great man he was. I hope you and your siblings will find strength in the knowledge that he loved you so much.
So sad to hear about your Dad, Lesley you and your siblings have an Angel👼 in heaven watching over you. May God give you all strenght and courage to carry on💖
Most important is the legacy of love that your dad leaves behind. I hope that you find comfort in the company of your family and friends and peace in the memory of better days.
So sorry you lost your Dad, but love your attitude. Hold tight to the good memories! You might want to look into joining a grief support group - friends of mine have found so much inspiration and good time with the group they joined. I truly believe that the group has helped them in extremely positive way!
Dear LesleyKay21, you, your twin sister, your brother, and all your family are blessed to have known and been loved by such a wonderful father. Your words say it all... I send my deep condolences to all of you. May your father's soul be bound up in the bond of life, and his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him. And may you be comforted...
I'm so sorry for your loss, Leslie. This disease is so awful, and I pray that research will continue to improve outcomes for patients like your father.
