Yesterday I felt really good when I woke up but it didn't last. I had started downhill before lunchtime and by 4:00 I just needed to lie down. That's why I didn't post yesterday eve. Well anyway I'm back up this morn feeling good again maybe today is the day it turns around(at least til next treatment).
Thanks for being here,
RW

Rw, its so great you're checking in like this. I send hope that today is a bit easier. Be forewarned though, the fatigue will get worse before it gets better. Chemo works because it kills cancer cells just a bit faster than it kills healthy cells. Right now every cell in your body is under attack. The faster growing cells in your body are going to feel some of that- that includes your hair, the cillia in your nose and ears, tastebuds and the production of blood cells in your bone marrow. Don't be alarmed if they tell you you need a blood transfusion later on in treatment.
You sure right about that. I thought between day 7 and 10 I was suppose to be back above baseline until my next infusion , but that's just not been the case so far unless it turns around fast. Anyway i decided to just stay home today maybe I will have enough energy to go to church tommarrow .
RW, thanks so much for letting us know how this is going. I can't imagine how hard it is to be patient, but I am glad you are listening to your body and resting when you need, moving when you can. Please know our thoughts continue to be with you!
