Having two nodules removed on this Wed. They are in the left lung. Had two removed four years ago in right one. These are non smoking cancers. Must be scanned every six months. Anyone else have these? How are you doing?

Non smoking nodules.
I am a non-smoker and have never smoked when they found a nodule on my upper right lobe which was removed 2 1/2 years ago, it was determined to be cancerous at stage 1B. I had 4 rounds of chemotherapy and now have a CT every 6 months, for at least the next 2 1/2 years. So far have had no other effects and my life has returned to normal.
Wonderful. They just removed three nodules. Two had just started to change to cancer. Am going home tomorrow. Dr removed lymph node to have it check. He thinks it's ok. Enough already. Will have to start the six month checkup again. Take care.
Adenocarcinoma of the lung is generally not associated at least as much as the squamous cell carcinoma, is that what you have? Each person is different so there is really no way to answer that honestly. Just doing what is requested of you and following Please try not to worry, that just eats energy that you need to heal!
