I hope your procedure to drain the cyst goes well and radiation takes care of the new tumor. Please update when you can.

Is it a tumor or just a cyst of water?? Fluid drained and it went to pathology but....nurse says it’s just water since 4 ct scans were taken within a month showing negative for lung cancer. I’m so confuses

It impossible for anyone other than your doctor or those who are involved with your treatment to know. Do you have someone with you that can help with questions? You can also ask for your medical records and seek a second opinion. This must be very frustrating for you.

I’m sorry you are having to deal with this by yourself. Your medical team and you, will know more after surgery on the 4th. Waiting is the hard part. My continued good wishes that the surgery reveals positive news.

I’m grateful that it is benign. A benign tumor can still grow and cause problems so it’s just better it’s gone. As a matter of routine they will test it and double check that they are right about it’s veing non cancerous.
