I have developed sores in the webs of my fingers from wearing compression garments, can anyone suggest anything to help?

I've already tried the silicon tape but this doesn't help.

Hi,

I have similiar problem with my feet and backs of knees- I now rub in tea tree cream, or a antihistermine cream, at least 15 mins before I put my garments on- and then again at night when I take them off- this helps a bit.

Hi

I get the same between my toes, I use tea tree cream plus apply some self adhesive padding (it comes in rolls) which I get from boots the chemist, you can find it in their feet section, just cut small strips and place it between the fingers it helps to protect the skin while wearing the garment. It takes a few days but heals up, reapply when needed.

Hi Victoriah

I had same problem wearing mediven with the seam digging into the thumb web. I used a thin strip of foam which I got from my physio. But what really solved it was when I got moved on to a separate sleeve and glove. The glove is made by Sigvaris and it's both a nicer colour and, although it has a seam, it's softer than Mediven and I've not had problems with it.

Hi victoriah

I wear the sigvaris seperate sleeve and glove and it is a lot nicer to wear no sores at all, I use E45 lotion to moisturise at night .
