Hi Every one,

I had Arm Lympodema since FEB 2018 and made my hand swallowing., I was diagnosed with different Hospital for any Internal Obstruction to Lymphatic nods ,such as Cancer or trauma .And hopefully it was negative . how ever still I am suffering from hand swallowing.

I vested also different therapist and all of them they do the same technique almost and give the manual Derange and pneumatic Derange procedure, Also they Advised me to were the Compression Garment stocking , but I notice my Hand become inflated more due to tight garment sleeve ,

I am always concerned about wrong diagnoses to my case , and I am concerned about some vain obstruction after the hand Wrist . my case is very mild but still frustrated me as abnormal condition.

Where are you in the world Mohd1? Let us see if we can find you some help and advice?

Before the diagnosis, did you have a skin infection in that arm or in the wrist joint? Do you have a sleeve garment which reaches to your armpit? Do you also have a compression glove?

How old are you?

Hi

I am in Saudi Arabia

I did not have history of skin infection or wrist join as I remember.

I have both sleeves and armpits garments and I have different kinds. Even for night one.

Yes I do compression gloves

Do you attend a hospital clinic in your country or do you go to a different country? Did you have a test using dye (injected into the skin between your fingers) which was then scanned to track the lymph flow - what sort of tests have you had?

Lymphscintigraphy or fluoroscopy will confirm if it is a lymphatic problem.

You may not need a sleeve that covers the arm if it is making the hand swelling worse. You could ask for a ‘gauntlet’, which is a compression glove, which reaches to the middle of the forearm or below the elbow.

Now days the place where I am working agreed to treat me outside my country however to find the right Hospitl to well find out the real medication and treatment.

Would you please recommend some hospitals or even doctors who can work with me to assist my case and stop this hand swollen

If you have been previously treated at the Mayo, you could contact them - there are a few websites in the US where you can find information about treatment centres - you can use the Search option (above) - try ‘help in USA’ as a prompt.

Or, in Europe, the Foeldi Klinik (in Germany) may be able to give you information - foeldiklinik.de

This site is based in London - if you have contacts here, there are a number of private hospitals who could assist.
