Intense pain in tailbone

Is it normal to have intense pain in the tail bone? I'm on 10mg transdermal patch and gabapanthen and paracetamol but the pain is unbearable. So bad when I took my dad to his chemo therapy I couldn't get up from my seat as it hurt so much. Is this related to having lymphedema? Sorry if I'm whinging.

Are you on the medication ‘cocktail’ for the pain in the coccyx, or is this pain new? If new, it needs medical assessment.

I have a lot of pain in that area but I think it's down to my lymphedema damaging all my nerve endings and when it's cold I really do suffer I've got to go and lay down with a hot water bottle on my bum. But your sounds like you've damaged your coccyx and that is very painful because I fell down stairs and broke mine you need medical help
