Cramp like feeling in foot

Hi everyone

For the last 7 years after radiotherapy have lymphedema in both legs and got on with life wearing compression stockings. A month ago had operation for colon cancer and after 2+ weeks in hospital am home recovering. It was an eye opener that none of the staff new anything about lymphedema or the problems that can acor.

My question is my left foot now has the feeling of cramp and nothing I can do to get rid of the feeling. Compared to my right foot it is pale in colour. Has anyone else had this problem and what can be done about it. I'm asking this before consulting my doctor or local hospice where I have a specialist. I like to be prepared before appointment.

Talk to your GP or lymphoedema specialist - there could be any number of causes, but only they can fully evaluate and make recommendations for treatments. Please don't delay.

As Lynora said, don’t delay. Sounds like a circulation problem - get it checked out ASAP. Call/see a doctor today (if you haven’t already).

Agreeing with Lynora and Chocolate-e-clare, it sounds like something is cutting off circulation to your left foot but not your right. Could it be your compression stocking?
