I heard this gene therapy product was in stage 3 trials for primary lymphodema ages ago, and was given the OK for venous issues - has anyone heard anything at all about what happened and if anyone is using it/ can get it?

Hi Emma , Where do you live? This is a UK site but we also have a lot of other nationalities posting. What Hospital was undergoing the trial? There is no trial I'm aware for gene therapy and LE. The current trials in the US, Australia and UK (2018) are for Ubenimex which we hope will be a successful drug intervention for LE (not a gene therapy). I think Collategene may be used for venous issues?

Hi Emma. The trial is from a hospital in Japan. The results will be in 2019-2020. I am waiting. Best wishes from Spain.
