@lillian - I wasn't prepared for the 'Michelin Man' effect of bandaging either! As it was for a month in the first instance, I went to the local supermarket and bought some shoes that were two sizes too big. They weren't perfect, to flat, rather flimsy for the month of March, but they served the purpose, and an investment of considerably less than I was prepared to pay for a months use. I'm not sure if I will be offered the bandage treatment again as I have lost 8 kg since, and leg measurement is now reduced, but if it was to happen on a regular basis I would buy something more substantial than 'cheapo' supermarked footwear - some of the members have suggested some companies that make good shoes. I wish you luck!

You can get Kerraped boots on prescription from the GP. They will go over bandages.
