Lymphpress day 1 π : Well today is my first day with... - LSN
Lymphpress day 1 π
keep us posted....I have Cleo active compression boots from many years ago....i dug them out and they do help a bit.....but then leg swells again....leave no stone unturned. I came across a Lymphadema education group in USA...LE&ARN on YOUTUBE. They have the actress Kathy Bates as a spokeswoman and the stats are saying over 10million people in US with lymphadema and they are really trying to bring it to the forefront which is what we must do in UK....so keep posting everyone!
I am now on day two ππ with the lymphapress , I was up through the night three times going for a pee so hopefully this press will start to have some kind of effect .i am haveing this machine on for a hour in the morning and then another hour in the eve with compression through the day while I'm walking about .it is a shame the nhs doesn't recognise this condition is so serious I think they should have a centre where you can go book in for therapy twice a day .i will keep you lovely people up to date so then maybe others can finally get help they need .
Hi what is this machine that you are using? my nan has lympheodema in her left arm that is severe and gets very little help from her doctors etc.
thank you
Hi sammi , I have the lymphapress optimal on a two week trial I've heard people get real good results from this I emailed a lady called Naomi who is a lovely lady very helpful who is based in Henley upon Thames as I have had no help from the nhs who have let me down constantly I am on my second day of the trial something must be working as I was up through the night three times going for a wee and today which is my second day had started to soften the back of my legs so they say once that area has softened it can start draining the lymphpress does the mld for you very relaxing π I have this machine on for a hour in the morning then a hour on the eve I wear compression tights in between while I'm not useing the machine .π
That sounds amazing and so positive.Yes there is so little help in Nat Health.
I have been very lu my as my lymphaedaema got worse and worse in my right leg.It was so solid and leaked all the time.
Last Jan I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.I was told that after the first chemo my leg would improve.I did not believe the specialist but I was wrong. My leg improved and went ba k to normal except it is discoloured.I realise how lucky I have been and I wish you all better.
Hopefully soon there will be a better understanding and support for this very uncomfortable problem.

You can Trial The LymphaPress for two weeks for Β£150 and if you go on to purchase then this sum will be deducted from the purchase price. Compression Therapy Uk do have a limited stock of ex Demo equipment available at reduced cost and you might also consider looking into Group purchasing since to garments are manufactured to medical grade they can be used by multiple.
There are also finance companies & 0% Credit cards to make purchase more manageable.
I wish you much luck!
Thank you so Much!
