Hi so i have lymphodedema in my arm. I used a hydroven flowtron machine for 6 weeks every other day and my arm went down, i borrowed the machine from the hospital but then had to give it back, so my arm grew again. i haved deicedd to buy my own machine its expensive and its take me a year and ahlaff tosave for it and i hope to get it with in a month.

So the answer is it can work to reduce the size of the limb but its a long process and continuous .

Hello, I have weekly sessions on the machine organised for April through til May. I had monthly sessions last year and found those really good. I may try to find the funding for my own machine if I get really good benefit from these two months. You do not pay VAT on the cost of a machine because we have a chronic condition. I already do not pay VAT on Kenisio Tape when I buy it from Haddenhams, the same people who sell the machine. In particular I find that it helps my knees and ankle joints. Good luck

I would like to know how much it costs in the UK and how much it weighs. Is it available in continental Europe?

I live in Ukraine. Yes that place! I have had L for 25 years and never any trearment so to speak of. I have L in my legs, arms, and breasts. I just do all I can to keep it tolerable with a 'pure' unprocessed diet and plenty of river swimming walking and exercise. Ifour connection develops usefully I will write to you via email. Many thanks J

Hi everyone

I just go it my hydrogen flowtron 12 compression machine 18 mths after initially trying it out for six week and achieving a 5%reduction in the trial weeks. This seemed the best treatment around ( I was just being seen in clinic and being given very good sleeves but no treatment) but I did not have the 2000pounds needed. My consultant surgeon, oncoligst gp and lyphodima nurse all insisted this as what I needed they tried to find funding in their NHS but sadly this did not happen, it and med with there letters saying that I needed the machine I applied to Three charities for grants all were sucesfull and I received 2\3 of the money needed from th we grants friends and family helped too and I finally got the machine on Friday I'm using it daily and will keep u posted on my progress.

I'm in the USA, so I am not familiar with some of your terms. I use a pneumatic compression machine. It is a small unit with a "sleeve" that fits over my leg (I have lymphedema in my right leg, resulting from radiation therapy following cervical cancer surgery.). I use it at night before I go to sleep from 20 minutes to an hour. I find it very helpful. I don't know if that is the same equipment you are talking about.
