What can a child with asthma eat to calm asthma? I’ve given him ginger tea n a lemon to suck on.

There are not really too many foods that will naturally calm asthma, as the problem is in the respiratory system, not the digestive system. Of course, eating healthily, keeping your weight down, exercise, etc., all help to keep asthma at bay, but I'd be inclined to get a medical view on it, as the child might need to modify their treatment plan.
