Hang in there and I hope this flare-up ends quickly! Talk to your doctor about new treatments if things are not better...

Take care

Glad to hear that you are doing better!

Sometimes I have to take prednisone for treatment, but after the last 2 treatments, I avoid it ... I have extreme mouth and throat pain when i take it the last 2 times. I do not think I am supposed to have it due to I read the side effects and it is in the list of side effects. But they still try to give it to me. Plus it keeps me wound up like a cork when on it. I hate that and the pain. So avoid it ... But maybe it can help you.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I’m back on pred and it does help; luckily I don’t suffer the same side effects as you have. I’m getting better but hate the fact that I’m having flares more frequently, in spite of allergy shots and antihistamines. I considered it to be embarrassingly mild up until 2 years ago then wham! Growing old sucks!

And breathing treatments give me headaches; has that happened to you?

Please ask your doctor about NUCALA. It gave my life back and I’m hoping it does the same for everyone suffering from the terrible life asthma produces.

Be well
