Hi Holly😊

Welcome and so glad you have found our Living with Asthma community!

Asthma can be such a huge challenge to each one of us that live with it each and every day and also to our loved ones who help us manage this disease. So glad to hear you have a great doctor!

Take care,

Cara

So so sorry. Accept the reality since your son has to. I had very frightening childhood asthma and like many I got better but never "outgrew" it. I got better after age 9 and then as an adult but mid life it has gotten dangerous at times. What is great about the modern era is there are more ways to work and learn from home. Focus on planning towards how with his illlness he will finish college and live happily and independently. With asthma. Perhaps with all the research there will be a cure. In the meantime, I hope he gets great medical care. Children don't always, and neither do adults for that matter.
