I so understand what you are going through...sick and tired of being sick and tired! Sounds like you may have some bronchitis. I recently had the same symptoms, a bronchoscopy and ended up on steroids and an antibiotic. At the same time, he put me on two inhalers, one for long term control and the other one was a steroid inhaler. I am off the oral steroids and antibiotics but still under control due to the inhalers.

I hope you get over being so tired! But, it may take further intervention.

Prayers!

You may need to go to a Pulmonologist who will probably do a pulmonary function test. That is the only way to diagnose asthma. That is what they FINALLY did for me. Kept saying it was my sinuses which I'm sure contributed to the asthma but, I was coughing so hard! Ended up I have asthma, chronic bronchitis and chronic sinusitis. Keep pushing the docs until they give you a diagnosis and a treatment plan! Sometimes they just don't listen! I hate being sick and tired!

You might need a short course of prednisone to get you through the acute episode. Then the corticosteroid inhaler will keep your symptoms under control. This kind of severe asthma attack happens to me every few years. It sucks! Hang in there!

Please check if your blood work qualifies you for Nucala. It's expensive but if your insurance covers it's not so bad. Nucala changed my life. It allows me to function almost at 100%.
