Do you suffer with Health anxiety as well ?
As usually this comes with the fear of death
I would say yes what is happening in the world at the moment is unsettling a lot of people and more so people with anxiety so I think how you feel is normal
What I do is try to tell myself none of us know what will happen and try not to read what the papers etc say , it is an " If " but if it happened we would deal with it

I also have health anxiety and we mostly focus on ourselves when we feel something is wrong with us because of the fear of death , so when things start happening in the world that same fear as war relates to death starts joining in with our anxiety , another way it has found to get in and torment us
So what you are feeling is normal but as I have said try and cast those thoughts out ( not easy ) and try not to listen and read to much about what people are saying it is a well known fact newspapers twist things , we have enough to deal with with our selves

I have anxiety about my health and specifically about having a heart attack. This is made worse when I read about it or catch something on the TV. Best way is indeed to avoid watching the news. Some days I cope better than others. Glad to be a part of this group. Was wondering what coping mechanisms other members use? I try to meditate when it gets really bad.

It is awful living with it and sorry you suffer to
I was doing really well till I actually took ill last year for real and it is like everything I had worked on for years has just come back with vengeance !
I try and use deep relaxation , I go on You tube but have to be honest sometimes my anxiety is that high it over rides listening to that !
I try and avoid watching , reading or listening to things to that I know will trigger me of to
It would be good to know what others do but seems to be very quite on here , hope people may read this post though and reply
