My anxiety is through the roof today. I think it’s because of the holidays I’ve had 2 family deaths around the holidays and now they aren’t the same.

😞

Hello paigexnicole_

I'm so sorry that you're gong through this, and to some extent I understand what you're going through. I lost my father on the day before Christmas Eve one year, and my mum on New Years Day. I've also suffered from severe anxiety, too.

I have no easy answers or comments to offer that I could guarantee to make you feel better, but do be kind to yourself today, and know that you're not alone as long as ever you're a member of this forum.

This won't be the reply you receive on here, and I hope that someone will pop along soon to offer something that can cheer you up and make you a feel a little bit happier than you currently are just now.

In spite of everything that's feels like your reality just now, there's always that chance that things can change - they did for me, even though I couldn't find a smidgeon of faith that anything ever would - and I truly hope that something might change for the better for you very soon.

Kind regards

Graham

Thank you 😊

Hello :-)

You are certainly not alone while everyone is banging on about Christmas I am full of anxiety worse than I have ever had before and want it all to be done and out the way !

I lost my Mum some years ago now late October and around this time of the year the thoughts come back as well as a few years later just after Christmas I lost my Dad

Then this year in Feb I got double pneumonia and ended up in resuscitation and have never been right since !

Always had health anxiety so with all this especially what happened to me my head is doing overtime with the thoughts I am having

I have no pearls of wisdom I wish I had , I would be more than glad to share them :-)

All I can say is know you are not alone , when the thoughts come in your head try and push them out by thinking of something else , remember Christmas is just one day really and will be here and gone and hopefully you will settle back down again

We are here if you need a chat so you are not alone :-)

Take Care x
