hi, im stuck. i dont know how to help. i spend all day teaching and helping others to become better at what they do but im not good enough myself. i cant take it anymore. i keep stammering m words and cantspeak properly. im not mysef anymoreanddont know what to do to help. i can help othes but not myself. i dont like living whee i do or with the people even though they dont do anthing wring, theyre lvely but i dont want them here. they are always moving around. i sound stupid stupid and cant stop.

Welcome to you, I’m glad you found us here.
I’m sorry for how you feel and for your struggles.
Being able to help others and not ourselves I’m sure will resonate with a lot of us here. 😞
It’s difficult to make yourself a priority and you deserve to look after you.
Although if we neglect ourselves too much we won’t be fit to help others, so I guess a bit of an incentive there.
Have you visited your gp to explain how you feel, that is usually a good place to start.
If you are in uk you can als self refer to ‘talking therapies’ on the nhs ...if you type in talking therapies nhs and your area it should come up.
The good thing about being here is that it helps to feel less alone with our struggles. Although we are all very indidvual in those struggles our experiences mean we understand in my opinion..

I agree with what Hidden has already replied and I stress that you do not sound stupid at all so please at least on here don't think anything that is making you feel anxious will be read as people thinking you are stupid as we all know how anxiety affects us and makes us feel
I am with you on been great at helping others and giving advise but when it comes to myself it is a totally different story
What I do when I am struggling trying to help myself is I ask myself if someone else was feeling or thinking the way I was what would I advise and tell them to do ? whatever I would tell them I then tell myself , now I have to do it as I know that will help me
The things that are bothering you try and prioritise them , which is the one that is getting you down the most ?
Which ever one it is then deal with that first and the rest as you are able to , we tend to want to solve everything all at once and we can't and this just causes more anxiety
Your stutter that you seem to have developed will be your anxiety and because you have noticed it then you are conscious of it so it will happen more no doubt , if you can say to yourself it does not matter and give it less importance then it will slowly start to improve
Maybe the first thing could be to go and talk with your Doctor , remember because you help others does not mean you can't get help for yourself to as we all need it at times and you deserve it just as much as the people you support
