Hello

I have tried them before there are so many out there though and some say they work others say they don't make a difference for me I did not see a difference as such but maybe I did not find the right one for me :-)

If you are thinking about trying them maybe go into a health shop , Boots the chemist and they usually are very good at suggesting what could benefit you as well as making sure you would be ok to take them :-)

Sorry I cannot enlighten you much more with this subject but you never know someone else might come along that will :-)

Take Care x

Hi Anon, I take B-complex, L-Thenine, Magnesim. Only because our body need it. But you won't feel any calming effects. I sometimes take gaba, st john wart, valerian, chamomile & kava tea to relax me after work and in the evening before I go to bed. But it tends to wear off.

Hi Anon, back in December and early January when my symptoms as in most people suffering with Anxiety were at their highest. I found myself desperately searching for answers. I kept coming across the word magnesium. I decided the very next day to try this. I bought the standard Holland and Barrett 250mg tablets and found the results to be fairly quick as I took them in a coffee shop around the corner. I mentioned this to my GP and he suddenly put forth some data that proves it's worth...but why not tell me before? So there are various types of magnesium available. I have got Magnesium Glycinate which helps with low mood and anxiety. Holland and Barrett do citrate which they recommend in one store as my local didn't. Also St John's Wart which is also good for mood and calming. I top this up with a meditation class once per week. Which has seen me back to my normal job role after being off 4 months with severe depression.
