Hello :-)

You do worry about your health and I know what it is like to have Health Anxiety but trust me when we do we pick up on every twinge we feel where if we did not have Health Anxiety these feelings would just come and go because we would not be paying any attention to them :-)

I have had these fluttering sensations many times even where my heart is and it has never been anything to do with my heart , sometimes believe it or not indigestion can give you these sensations or little nerves as we have them all over the body can , if you pay it no attention they will go as quick as they came on , try and keep yourself distracted best you can :-)

Take Care x

I had muscle twitches for a couple weeks really scared me. Started some liquid magnesium supplement and for some reason it stoped. Even those annoying eye twitches

Glad you found something that worked :-) x

Ever since I had lots of stomach problems I’ve had small twitches all over, from eye lids to arms stomach legs, just small muscle contraction that flutters and go away again, but more than likely the worrying makes it worse, I now ignore it as it’s been almost a year and I’m still kicking :)

Do you still have the twitches?

in reply toDaveDE

Sure do I just ignore them :)

I’ve had these for the last couple of months, mainly arms and legs. I don’t know if I’m imagining it or whether those muscles feel a bit odd but I’m trying not to worry too much; easier said than done!

in reply to

I agree it’s a lot easier said than done, from my experience as long as u can see the muscle twitch as in a fasculation and u can stop them by moving the muscle then it’s not a worry, if u relax enough you will feel the same, mine were eyelids, triceps forearm and quad muscles more than anything else,

:)

in reply to

Mine are triceps and quads too! I’m hoping it’s just stress and anxiety. Trouble is, worrying about it makes me more anxious!

in reply to

Totally get that, stress is a pain and that along with anxiety is definitely enough to get the same twitching

in reply to

Trouble is, you then constantly analyse it. The twitching isn’t as bad as it was but I’m now worrying that the muscles in those areas feel a bit odd. Don’t know if they feel a bit weak/achey or if I’m imagining it, or whether they are and it’s caused by stress?!

in reply to

Yeh your imagination runs wild! Your over thinking and then questioning yourself to how the muscles should feel? Prob tensing them checking them out which then works them and make them feel strange :) been there :)
