I am sitting here in the hospital as I had an allergic reaction to a wasp bite. Yup passed out twice. It scared me like nothing else. I am now thinking is there something more to what happened to me.

I am so sorry you have had a reaction to a wasp bite but be reassured as frightening as this will have been it is common

Of course your anxiety will want to now play tricks with you and tell you it could be this that and the other , anxiety always takes advantage when we are at are lowest and already full of fear, that is how it stays in control but try not to listen to it and remember you are in the best place , they will make sure you are 100% ok and trust them they know what they are doing :-)

Take some deep breaths and tell the Doctors and nurses how you feel and what you are worried about they are there to reassure you as well and you will not be the first one that has expressed these kind of concerns to them

I am being discharged they feel I fainted because of the initial sting recaction of biting of the bug 🐜 and then my vomiting caused me to pass out. I am not convinced

Hello :-)

I know you will not be convinced because your anxiety won't want you to be , but it sounds sensible to me what they have said and I do know others that have reacted exactly like you have when they have been stung

Try and ask yourself when you are doubting

What reason would they have to lie to you ?

Have they been to medical school to train for years ?

Why would they send you home , risk their jobs and reputation if they were not 100% sure you were fine :-)

We have to ask ourselves positive questions when we are doubting to change the negative thoughts :-)

If you can take it easy today , do something nice and spoil yourself and when the negative thoughts and feelings come in swap them into positive ones :-)

Keep us updated but I am sure everything will be ok :-) x
