I have got a job interview on Tuesday, I have now had the details through and now I have to do a 3min presentation on what I think is the most important part of the job. Now I am having a panic about what to say and how the hell am I going to make it last 3mins.

Sorry just need to get it off my chest.

Maybe you could focus on how you could as a receptionist show the visiting public what is so amazing about the place you work x How you hope they could see through your enthusiasm of you work that this is a place they could return to each time gathering more knowledge about the heritage x How you can point them in the direction they want to go and guide them in other directions they may never of thought of xx 3 mins may seem a long time but once you start you will find the words just flow as your confidence grows x Good luck xx :) Donver x

I think you could talk about all the different people you will meet, how you will interact with them. So basically talk about being a peoples person and good communication. I hope that hasn't scared you more. Good luck, sounds like a lovely job xx

Hi winter, thanks for the advice. Had a chat with a mate and having a talk out loud and bouncing some ideas of her seemed to help. Think I have a good I dear what to do (involves hand out to make me memorable)

Well done snowdrops on getting the interview :-)

Winter has good advise on this & I cant add more as I havnt had as much experience

Maybe time yourself talking for 3 minutes , might sound a long time but if you do it in the comfort of your own home , you might realize its not as long as it sounds

I am a big believer in whats meant to be will be & if you are meant to get this job you will

Above all else , give yourself credit for been invited for the interview , because that alone is a big achievement now a days & you should feel proud :-)

You can do this , keep posting & people will be here for you :-)

Let is no how it goes

Love

Hi glade to hear from you. I am really excited to have an interview mainly because I never think I'll get one. I know what will be will be. It was just a little unexpected but I think I have an idea of how I will approach this.
