Afternoon folks hope everyone is enjoying their sunday,
Has any of you fine folks out there got any tips on how to keep an avocado fresh once you have used have of it, I find that i have to eat both halves when i want to use one and then feeling that ive over eaten, When i have left in fridge toeat following day they have gone black and soggy

You can get a special avocado keeper - don’t know how good they are.
I keep the stone in one half and tightly wrap it in a thin plastic bag (the type supermarkets have on the side to put vegetables in (I know, not very eco friendly) and they are always ok the next day. I am about to try with a freezer bag. When I use those I use a straw (stainless steel, reusable😇) to suck the air out.

Good suggestions. Don't forget to cover the cut surface with acid (eg vinegar, lemon juice) before wrapping. Guacamole, made with a reasonable amount of lime juice is usually palatable the next day.
Truth be told, I have decided the serving size of avocado is "1".
