I finally got serious with LCHF and broke my plateau. My weight was stuck at 190-192. Today I’m 188 yay!!! All thanks to low carb. I have a ways to go. Let’s hope I can keep it up.

Well done! Nothing more frustrating than a stall. I called mine "the doldrums".

Great stuff!

I see you were very enthusiastic a few months back and then (I guess?) fell off the wagon for a bit. Remember to push yourself out of your comfort zone and experiment with new recipes - it's the key to making this a sustainable, enjoyable lifestyle as opposed to a chore or a "diet".

Yes that’s my problem, I haven’t tried new recipes. I also love carbs but not how they make me feel.

I think it was cheritorrox who flagged up this site a while back:

They have loads of recipes there. It's all free. And what with everyone being stuck in the house these days, it's an ideal chance to just mess around in the kitchen!

My suggestion would be to pick (say) one or two breakfast recipes and a handful of lunch/dinner recipes, and just stick with them, on rotation, for a month. Taking away the "what am I going to have for dinner today?" conundrum can help keep you on the straight and narrow.

If you can stick with it for a month you'll find you're a lot less inclined to say "I love carbs". It's hard to believe, but you really do lose interest in them pretty quickly as long as you don't "cheat" during those critical early days.
