For those of you unfamiliar with Weston A. Price here is a short precis.
This man was a wealthy dentist whose means enabled him to travel the globe seeking out indigenous peoples and seeing what effect changing their natural diets to the Western diets consisting of mainly sugar and refined carbohydrate.
His research book was published and was entitled Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. It is a huge tome and available as a free PDF download, link below. Click full page to view.
Now I don't expect all of you to go through every word, but I would urge you to scroll down to the photographs to see what happens to the faces of these tribes, (if you will) when they abandon their traditional diets for the one we will all be used to. The horrific changes occur sometimes in as little as ONE generation when perfectly formed facial bones and perfect teeth go to... well have a look yourself.
Incidentally, when on the Western Isles of Scotland, UK he offered a girl an apple. She didn't have a clue what it was! Makes you question the 5 a day nonsense.

Interesting. The teeth thing is particularly striking. I think some of the facial changes may be due to fetal alcohol syndrome though, rather than a high carbohydrate diet - but Price would not have known about that.
And Price WOULD have known about that given his forensic research attitude.
Fetal alcohol syndrome was not discovered until 1973. This article was published in1939. I am casting no aspersions on his forensic research approach, but rather referring to medical discovery history. I did not mean to question the value of you sharing thus article and do not wish to get into a fight about it.
Having read a bit of the report (I like the writing style) I think this would also tie into the book by Kate Rheaum-Bleue Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox which has some similar pictures. Turning from traditional good food grown in healthy earth to the newer, less nutritionally dense, exciting(!) fast food diets is bound to have an effect.
I think Hidden has a point, to a degree, but foetal alcohol syndrome would not account for the large numbers involved. Genetics would also come into play (I have come across one or two families with poor oral health that is genetic) but again, that would not account for large numbers or have sudden changes.
I absolutely agree that the high carb diet is had a terrible effect. I just meant - and as usual expressed myself badly - that I think there were other factors, including face shape changes that point towards fetal alcohol syndrome. We can’t possibly know 80 years later how many of the mothers women drank during pregnancy. I hypothesise (and that is all) that plentiful alcohol appeared on the scene at the same time as carbs.
