Hi
I need to climb back on the wagon of low carb eating
Aside from breakfast of fruit and lactose free cream what can you suggest? No eggs or dairy unless lactose free as suspect I shall be hungry if only fruit and cream TIA

Welcome to the forum
When first starting out, I think it helps to work backwards from your potential sources of fats. We've been told so often to avoid them it takes a bit of thought to dredge out long-forgotten memories of fat-based meals. In your case, you've got:
- Clarified butter (no lactose or milk proteins).
- Olive oil.
- Coconut oil.
- Palm oil (get the unrefined palm oil, which is red and sticky and has a nice flavour).
- Lard/meat fat.
- Avocadoes (about the only fruit with a significant amount of fat).
Then think up potential uses for them. Your egg/dairy restriction means that you've lost 75% of the go-to options for LCHF breakfasts, but there's no law that says you have to have certain things for breakfast (or whatever you want to call the first meal of the day). You're most likely going to end up eating "dinner" a little earlier.
For example, how about just roasting some veg with chopped sausages?
Soup?
If you like spicy food, you could try a vegetable bhaji (ie., a dry curry) with some coconut oil or coconut cream. I think it was Stoozie mentioned the solid blocks of coconut, which are really convenient for adding to things like that.
Another possibility would be Korean-style grilled bacon wrapped in lettuce with kimchi.
Tex-mex style beef with guacamole?

None of these things are "breakfast food" of course, but they're compatible with your allergies, and they're mostly portable-and-microwaveable so you can eat them at the office (or whereever) for brunch.
I would avoid fruit entirely for the first few weeks. Most fruits have a lot of sugar. That won't be a problem later on, but try to keep carbs/sugar as low as possible for the time being.
thank you
I shall investigate a few of those
I looked at the lacto free yogurt crumbs so high in carb so not an option
xooxx
This morning I had left over cold roast chicken with an easy salad dressed with olive oil and lemon juice.
Yesterday morning for breakfast I had left over beef stew made with 7 different vegetables. I did have some whole wheat bread with it.
The day before that I had left over chicken Thai red curry, pumpkin was the main vegetable in it.
Left over cottage pie made with pork mince and lots vegetables and a mashed Swede top is also nice for breakfast.
A nice freshly cooked chicken or beef steak or pork chop or lamb chops with a heart healthy easy salad with olive oil and lemon dressing.
When I'm on low carb I'm not even hungry at breakfast time. but You could have any low carb foods at breakfast time, any leftovers, bacon, eggs, soup etc. that's the beauty, it's whatever you want!
Hi it would be sausages and bacon for me ! x
