Since there was very little response to kkmworldno1’s post re setting up a weight loss group I am going to be brave and set myself up on a weight loss program. It’s all very well talking the talk, quite another to walk the walk. This will be a N=1 thing, something I’ve been considering for a while. What I propose is to weigh myself this Sunday and post the result here. I will tell you what my program will be and (hopefully) post pictures of my daily food intake, together with the exercise I will be doing. I’ll fill the post with what comes to mind and the philosophy of what’s behind my thinking. Then every following Sunday I will post my weight changes, such as they might be.
At the end of the experiment, I shall post before and after pictures.

I think nobody responded because LCHFers tend not to have much weight to lose
I'm certainly interested to know how you get on, though. I've been toying with the idea of doing a keto cycle because I just like having visible abs (I'm vain as hell, basically). My travel schedule makes this pretty hard to stick to, but maybe while you guys are taking up the challenge I should give it a shot.
kidding, Mike Sort of. The members here are actually losing even if they're not at their ideal weight yet ... while the calorie-counted crowd are watching the scales stay exactly the same and going slowly mad.
IMO, that's a sensible suggestion cheritorrox , since that's where/how hundreds of us have lost weight ( many by LCHF ) and more importantly maintained it...😊.
Agreed. I find diary-type (N=1) reflections very useful, because the minutiae of what others do is often full of the best wisdom. Headlines based on thousands of people don't really point me towards a fantastic idea for a packed lunch, etc.
