I invite volunteers to participate in a "Belly fat reduction challenge-Group-1" .
All these volunteers declare their Waist measure and weight and fix a target to reach as per general norms of maintaining BMI at 25. They should reduce the weight in their own style, but not forceful deprivation of basic needs of food for the body etc.
Once the group is full with members and targets, i prepare the list and targets set by individuals. We get motivated by each others progress, and share the improvements etc. Who are all in?
Caution: This is just to get motivation from others, so that we can meet our targets with competitive spirit.
Whatever you plan do diet etc. its at your own risk and I suggest, consult doctors before attempting anything on your own.

Whilst having the knowledge and applying the principles from a health point of view, I need to lose weight. From my point of view, whilst dropping carbs, it is VERY easy to overdo the fats.
I'd suggest if and when enough are interested and the first group is filled, set a day to input the stats, and use the same day every week.
Just a word of warning - we can't control where fat goes from - certainly in my case boobs disappeared first and "the beer barrel" was / still is the last to go. My waist reduced before the belly did! Might be more incentive if some other measurements included...
Hi Cheritorrox, I know we’ve spoken before about Spain, but I can’t remember what approach you’re taking to weight loss. Just thought I’d mention this is my first time trying LCHF instead of low fat calorie counting, and result is totally different from previous efforts. The boobs are still here but the mid riff has diminished so much that my GP says I no longer require surgery for hernia that was bursting through my version of a ripped six pack Three stones lighter, at least two dress sizes smaller, but I’m only just thinking about buying new bras as moving from 3rd to 1st eyelets has been sufficient, obviously I’ve been losing the back fat too, whoopydo! Seriously, I’m wondering if this approach loses fat stored around inner organs ahead of other areas. Just my thoughts - no research done :))
I started mid June calorie counting & changed to lchf from August - think the boobs had already deflated by then! Also should add that in my case most of the rest really was beer barrel after years of drinking too much of it ... It appeared after I stopped being active (thru idleness rather than health) and gradually grew (to 48in!), so it wasn't really a surprise to find it would take a while to get rid of it! Add age as a factor (I'm 64) and resultant loss of elasticity - I'll never totally get rid now but am content to feel a healthy size 14! From 46-44-48 to 36-34-38..... letting body decide if it wants to go lower as still eating the same with a few extra carbs now & then
Good morning kkmworldno1 i have just seen your post and am interested in the belly fat reduction have been losing weight slowly since christmas and have not far to go to reaching my healthy BMI and also my top end of my healthy weight. So i think this will give me that extra boost. I have not been on the forum these last few days because of moving house and my internet was down missed my saturday weigh in and missed my daily diary but back on track again now.
sorry for being not active on this task, as need to shift cities and work demands made lazy, though sporadically on the task. but no measurements taken. just trying to put some diet chart and moderate exercise to start with.
i suggest to start with BMI, Waist, hip, weight measurements as a starting point and each week same day measurements be recorded and share the progress. also when other clinical readings such as FBS, HbA1C, Triglycerides are taken, sharing that also might help others.
