You'd be better having broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, cabbage, chard, Brussel sprouts, or similar, Katarta. All root veg are higher carb and best left until after your induction period.

If you keep some frozen veg in, you'll never be left wanting :)

@moreless if I eat over 25g carbs do I come out if ketosis and have to start again. Does my body think oh my you’ve had carbs and fat therefore gain weight? Will I have to go through Keto flu again? My head is pounding.

You're best being strict at the beginning, because, as you say, you don't want to keep feeling rough.

Your body will always choose the simple fuel. If you feed it carbs, it'll use carbs, not body fat.

Drink bone broth, don't skimp on salt and you'll come through and feel great :)

Sorry you're feeling a bit rough, but it does go away, honest. For me it was only about 2 days, but for some people it can drag on a bit. As moreless said: broth and salt will help, and you do need to keep carbs as low as you possibly can so that your body gets the idea that its only choice is to fire up the old fat-burning boiler.
