Thank you for sharing this link Greta. I have posted a link to it on the ITP Support Association Facebook page and also on the TWITTER group. I never cease to be amazed by the remarkable work that people are doing for this cause. I cannot imagine the heartache that this family must have gone through but even in such terrible adversity they have fought back by working to raise awareness for this mystery condition.

This group of family and friends are doing a lot to raise awareness of ITP. We all need to spread the word in whatever way we can. It is so sad to read about a seven year old dying from ITP and I admire her family for what they are doing. I have renewed my vow to do all I can!!
I think my book "Heartaches and Miracles" has made a few non-ITPers aware of what we go through but there is so much more I'd like to do. We may put on a motorcycle ride to raise funds for ITP research next September if we can get some sponsors. If that is successful, we have more ideas to 'spread the word'
