Doxycycline affecting platelets

Hi all have had to take doxycycline for 3 weeks as a precaution after oral surgery has anyone had any experience good or bad with change in platlelet count?

All I know about to doxycycline is that I had a very bad reaction to it within 20 minutes of taking the first dose (violent vomiting and a shaky feeling) but no idea about platelet levels (sorry)

Usually your platelet counts are affected by infection which trigger your immune response. So taking an antibiotics doesnt trigger your immune system.I have had doxycycline without any impact on my platelet count
