What kind of itching are you talking about? After being diagnosed I started getting a rash on my arm that had a hematoma, which seems to flare up from time to time, but that's it. Have you tried Benadryl?
its like itching on neck, legs. arms. It was never before during medicine . But now im experiencing this . Might be this reaction of medicine i took. secondly i got acne . in forehead. shoulder. neck. n plus itching.. what is benadryl?
Yes I have had itching even before I was diagnosed with ITP. And since my recent Rituxan treatment, it has gotten almost unbearable. I get it all over my back, my sides, my lower legs and forearms. A hot shower helps as well as scratching. Doctors ignore me when I mention it. I have theorized it is autoimmune result of psoriasis or something else but don't yet know. Liver test sounds like a good plan.
I have been diagnosed since 2009, but have never experienced any itching. This is a new one on me!
I have had ITP since 2007 but have never had itching. Could your itching be an allergic reaction to a medication you have been prescribed because of your ITP?
Hi I have problems with itching, it felt like ants running under the skin. I spoke with my Heamalogy team and I was tested for a liver condition ( autoimmune also) I was diagnosed with it and put on medication for it and within days the itching had Almost completely stopped. I have flare ups.
yeah. same like my ants running under skin. which medicine u took for itching
?
Hi
I take Revolade for my ITP... one of it's side effects is itchy skin... could it be your medication?
It could be hormonal too... menopause can cause the skin to be very itchy too...
I am very fair skinned... which seems to make me sensitive to just about everything... my doctor recommended taking an antihistamine daily... and I've done that for years...
I would get it checked out x
When my count dipped low recently I had itchy shins and ankles.
Mixing sodium bicarbonate and water and applying on itchy areas can be very helpful at times. Same with vinegar water. Either apply it on skin, and you can drink it before meals as well (one teaspoon vinegar in one glass water). Helps the liver in doing its proper job in digestion and detox, which then leads to less skin problems. People have found considerable relief with these two. They are both natural so no side effects.
Try a antihistamine tabs hay fever that should stop it
