how Platelet count get normal

Hi,My sister having ITP Her platelet count an an averagete 30k Every 15 days it 20k and in other days 15 its 50k up and down please suggest me any one how platelet will get normal condition....

I belief keep track on count don't go for treatment till there are bleeding symptoms and try natural things like leafy vegetable Kiwis..

Hello SARazak,

I was diagnosed in 2007 and I have always had low platelets. Mine fluctuate at about the same level as your sister's and on the last count my platelets were 23. There is no need to worry except to monitor the situation. Do seek medical help if she starts bleeding or if she develops bruises.

Also get checked on B12 try to maintain good level this will also help in keeping platelet at some safe level

If you a bone marrow biopsy like me and are acceptable you can get put on eltromopag as it creates platelets in the bone marrow
