Sex and it's effects on platelet count excluding symptoms of bruises and bleeding

I read a lot of articles which says itp patient should avoid sex due to risk of getting bruised. Leaving the injury part aside does having sex lower platelate. Also steriods lowers your sexual drive. So a weekly safe not so wild sex is good or bad for itp range of below 5.

To be honest... when my platelet count is that low... I'm too exhausted to even consider sex... lol...

Maybe cronic fatigue is the body's way of just saying no... 😄

I feel being fatigue is just body nature. I am living with less than 10 count from more than 2 yrs. I cannot do strenous workout like others not sure why, but I wont be fatigue all the time but my other friends does who are not ITP patients. And my sex life is not so bad..

I don't think about health stuff gets in the way of living a normal life and having fun everyone's different

I don't believe that part because I am living with less than 10k Platelets from more than 2 yrs and whether I don't have sex for month or I have it every 2 days doesn't change my platelet level in anyway. So I feel it's a myth or differs from person to person.
