Count today 58... wiped the smug smile of my wee face...

I know..its so frustrating isn't it? It makes you wonder what, if anything, we have done or not done to make it change. I hope your next one is better.

That's the crux, no answers. Its the biggest guessing game going. I used to have panic attacks every time I had to find out my results from my doctor. Still on no meds, and I prefer it that way as long as I can get away with it.

O bless you, im hoping when i go back 28th sep mine will have stayed up too. Went up too 128 in July 🙏

93 in June... then down to 70 by July... had an unscheduled blood test two weeks ago when they came back as 109... so I think I've been on a natural decline...

You'll be fine... positive thinking...crossing fingers... x

Mine went up to 81 when I had brochitis, dropped back to 40 a couple of weeks later.

That is odd... it's as though your body has been too busy fighting bronchitis to be bothered bashing platelets...

Yes, that's what my hema thinks also. It gave antibodies something else to pick on instead of my platelets.

I know how you feel when my platelets were on a roller coaster ride it would change from hour to hour, sometimes it can be as simple as having a different breakfast before going in for bloodwork in the morning...I understand your frusteration...be Strong...

I'm used to them dropping... they have just never dropped by that amount...

Doesnt help that there is no explanation for it.

I'm healthy with what I have... so shouldn't complain... was just looking forward to hopefully cutting back on medication... lol...

Unfortunately it happens 10th August count 145 17th August 25! Where did they go nobody knows hey ho!

Mine are up and down like a yo-yo, I test every other week, anything from 40 to 140 (post splenectomy). I have nearly given up worrying about it now!
