Does mmf always improve count slowly?

Hi, have been on mmf (myfenax) for just over 3 weeks, on a dose of 500mg twice a day. Went to haematology clinic on Monday and my platelet count has only gone up from 80 to 90 after 3 weeks of treatment. Is this usual with mmf or is it likely that it isn't doing anything and my count is just fluctuating on its own?

I'd say thats a good sign. I was told MMF could take 3 months to kick in. I have been on MMF since july 1st. My count has yet to go up.

Thanks for your replies. I went to see the haematology clinic last week and my count was 87, so very slightly down on last time. Dr cooper, who I saw, seemed very happy that my count is keeping stable on the mmf and I don't need to be seen at clinic again for 6 weeks.I am still a little bit anxious that my count isn't in the hundreds, but I don't have any symptoms other than some small bruises on my upper arms.
