Hello new to this forum so just saying hi to everyone. I had itp when 8 went into remission when 12 and had it come back when i was 7 months pregnant (age 22) had it for 18 months now had 5 ivig treatments in that time and countless prednisone and for a year now my count has been stable around 70-120 which is fantastic. Just wondering if there are any other itp sufferers near me. Im in cornwall in the uk.

Hi im in porthcawl glam , south wales. I have itp and I also know of a women who has itp after her pregnancy. She no longer has treatment because she is on a gluten free diet. I am now in contact with her nutritionist , to try and get my platelets up. I got mine from a trip to Egypt!!!!!. Its all to do with the gut ....
