tremors.. help!

my mom is stilll very critical in a long term hospital. She’s on the ventilator and about a week and a half ago she quit talking and making eye contact (this has happened before in a couple set backs she had). She also started retaining a ton of fluid that they’re not really able to get off. Well last night her breathing seem to get a little better and then I noticed she started having tremors. It looks like her eye was twitching and her hands were twitching and throughout the night the nurse said it seemed to get worse when stimulated. Well today It is very bad. Her eyes are twitching making her whole body move and her hands. The worst part about it is it doesn’t stop. She’s constantly twitching. It looks like she’s getting no rest at all. I do notice it gets worse when stimulated, but it never stops even when it’s not as bad. Does anyone have any inside on this or can anyone please , give me any information that can help me??

my family were told that there are various reasons that someone might look like the are seizing. I had delirium which can present like is mimicking seizures.

The root cause of mine was chronic allergy to a certain antiviral which started as tremors and eventually became full seizures.

Once they had eliminated the particular drug - I was fine. In fact, I started to refuse to take it - to this day - I still have no idea how I knew it was that drug I was on so many.
