hello, my partner has been in intensive care coming up to 5 months now. I feel incredibly lonely, and would love to speak to someone going through a similar thing and maybe be able to support each other. I think it’s impossible to understand how it feels unless you are in the situation and it’s led me to become quite withdrawn :( sorry, I am not sure if this is the right place for this. X

I'd be happy to talk, answer any questions I can answer - I was in a coma with double pneumonia, status asthmaticus and Legionnaire's disease.

I have many tales to tell and would be happy to share.

It's an awfully lonely place being the loved one of a seriously ill loved one, I know my family suffered terribly when I was on life-support.

Either way, my very best wishes at this awful time.
