Friend just came off sedation drugs after having Covid pneumonia.

They’re doing EEG tomorrow to see if his brain will tell his lungs to breathe? So far everything else has been okay. Just concerning about his EGG

What’s that? He’s just had Covid pneumonia and stating to try getting him off the ventilator. What’s hypoxia injury? I’m believing everything is going to be okay. Since last Sunday they stopped all sedation drugs. Hopefully he’s waking up and pneumonia getting better

I had an EEG after I came round from my covid coma, because I had had a number of seizures while I was unconscious and they wanted to see if I had suffered a hypoxic brain injury.Hypoxic brain injuries occur when the brain is deprived of the necessary oxygen it needs.

Something that covid can cause by severely restricting our oxygen intake.

A later EEG was done after being me home for six months, and, while it showed some cell changes, there was no lasting brain damage.
