Exercise after ICU to rebuild strength

Once you or your loved one has returned home, many NHS trusts offer physiotherapy session for a period of time, these are designed to get you mobile again. As a charity, we decided to build on this fantastic platform because we, as expatients ourselves, didn’t want to decondition after all the hard work it had taken to get mobile again. Currently we run 2 x weekly exercise groups with highly experienced trainers on zoom. These are free to all ICU patients & their loved ones. We are now expanding this idea and opening a slightly more advanced class. All new members are offered an induction every Wednesday at 10am GMT so that the trainers can assess specific needs and level of ability. Please email info.icustepschester@gmail.com
